Interosseous ridge of the ulna


Description

This is a ridge of bone that is most obvious in the middle portion of the ulna. It faces laterally providing attachment for the interosseous membrane that joins the radius.

Etymology

The term interosseous derives from the Latin inter meaning between and os for bone.
