Description

This broad, thin strap forms the retinaculum for the long head of the biceps brachii tendon as it passes through the intertubercular groove of the humerus. It crosses from the lesser to the greater tubercle of the humerus over the proximal end of the intertubercular groove.

Holds the long head of the biceps brachii in the intertubercular groove.
