Description
This is a broad ligamentous sheet attaches along the posterior surface of the entire distal margin of the radius. As its fibers descend they angle across the wrist joint to the ulnar side of the wrist where they attach to the posterior surface of the proximal row of carpal bones.
Function
Stabilize the wrist joint and limit flexion and radial deviation of the wrist.
