Lesser pancreatic duct


Description

The lesser pancreatic duct is a small duct which opens into the duodenum, either independently of the pancreatic duct at a point about three centimeters above and in front of the latter or empties into the duct of the pancreatic duct as it turns downward, thus reaching the duodenum.
