Description
The left diaphragmatic crus is shorter and more slender than the right crus and arises in a similar fashion as a deep tendinous band that blends with the anterior longitudinal ligament, intervertebral discs, and bodies of the upper two lumbar vertebrae. The fibers diverge as they approach the central tendon of the diaphragm.
