Narrow strip of the external surface of the pubic body and inferior ramus
Insertion
Pectineal line and proximal part of the linea aspera of the femur
Action
Adduction and lateral rotation of hip.

Obturator nerve (L2 and L3)
Blood supply
From proximal to distal, the muscle is supplied by the obturator artery, medial circumflex femoral artery, femoral artery, and from direct branches and the perforating branches of the deep femoral artery.
