Aortic valve

Description

There are three aortic semilunar valves. They are identical in arrangement to the pulmonary valves, except that they are thicker and stronger. The nodules are larger, the aortic sinuses are more prominent, and two of them are placed anteriorly and one posteriorly. The anterior two are the origin to the coronary arteries
