Description

The anterior inferior cerebellar arteries arise from the basilar artery near it middle. Each artery passes forward and backward over the pons and the middle crus of the cerebellum. It terminates at the forepart of the undersurface of the hemisphere of the cerebellum, to which it is distributed. It anastomoses with the posterior cerebellar artery.
